The Brunswick Newcomers Club seeks to assist those new to the area in developing friendships and in better understanding southeastern North Carolina, in general, and Brunswick County in particular. The Club meets the third Thursday each month except July, August and December. Other regular events include the annual Christmas party and Fall Picnic. The "Lunch Bunch" meets monthly for lunch at restaurants from Wilmington to Myrtle Beach. Special events include group trips to North and South Carolina attractions.
